With Valentine’s Day tomorrow, we thought we’d use this as inspiration to feature the 10 best cities to find love thanks to Reader’s Digest.twin hearts jim dine montreal quebec

  1. Paris, France. Not surprisingly, Paris took first place even if it does seem cliché.
  2. Boston, Massachusetts: A high concentration of single people and a low divorce rate amongst those who did marry earned Boston second place.
  3. Montreal, Quebec: Beautiful scenery, a swinging nightlife and high concentration of single people have earned Montreal its place on this list.
  4. New York, New York: Not only is approximately 55% of the population single, but the city is world renowned for its romantic landmarks.
  5. Rome, Italy: The city exudes a romantic air that beckons to travelers from all over the world and that is how it landed on this list.
  6. Kingston, Ontario: Not only is this city half way between two of Canada’s largest metropolises (Toronto and Montreal), but it was recently named the happiest place to live.
  7. Prague, Czech Republic: Though known for its landmarks and history, the city is best enjoyed at night making it a perfect place for romance.
  8. Las Vegas, Nevada: Often known as sin city, Las Vegas attracts a large number of singles (more men than women) and has a nightlife you can easily get swept away in.
  9. Kyoto, Japan: Kyoto is a picturesque city, especially in the spring when the cherry blossoms are in bloom; this can be the perfect backdrop in which to find love.
  10. Baton Rouge, Louisiana: Like many places on this list Baton Rouge boasts history and natural attractions, but it is also home to many single women- a little southern charm might just help to find love.

As you can see there are a host of beautiful and diverse cities in which love is just around the corner. Congratulations to Kingston and Montreal for representing Canada by making this list. Between you and me, Toronto was totally snubbed.

Happy Valentine’s Day ♥
